Bridgeton Elementary School

Melisa 2010
THE GOOD CITIZEN

These students eagerly enter the school from their cars and buses. As they walk down the hall with their bookbags upon their backs they look forward to the start of a brand new day. Mrs. Whitford comments on how quietly they are walking on the right side of the hall. They enter the classrooms to begin their daily “jobs” as citizens of Bridgeton Elementary School. Homework is neatly contained within their homework folder. Quizzes are no problem because they are prepared. Adventures and information are fresh in their minds from the previous night’s good book they chose to read. Who are these people? They are the unsung heroes who do what is expected of them on a daily basis to get the “job” done. These students participate in the activities of the day hoping to fill their heads with the skills and knowledge they will need to complete their grade level. Responsibility, Self-Control, Honesty and Overall Good Citizen are words that can be used to describe these individuals.

Have I been talking about YOU? I hope so!

Let’s all strive to do our best and always remember:

Todays Good Citizens of Bridgeton Elementary School become Tomorrows Good Citizens of the Bridgeton Community.

Principal: Melisa Thompson
