Announcements
What's happing in the Art Room.
Currently, the 6th annual Valentine's Day Card sale is taking place at Carolina Creations, 317 Pollock Street. Thanks for your support. The cards from the art sale can also be viewed online at Artsonia.com under Bridgeton Elementary's page.
The next few weeks students will be learning about different artists' and creating works of art in the style of the artist they study about, while paying special attention to the Elements and Principles they are using in their art.
Some of the artwork from all grade levels will go to the Bank of the Arts for our annual Art Show during the month of March. These images will also be on the artsonia website.

Dates to Remember:
February 9, 2012 Family Night at BES.
Card sale at Carolina Creations thru Feb. 14, 2012
March 1-29 Art Show at the Bank of the Arts.
Students and parents will be notified by
the end of February with a letter home on
Blue Folder day.
March (date to be announced) Art Show Reception to honor
students with art works in the Art Show.
March (date to be posted later) Art Reception at the
Board of Education to honor one student from each
school in Craven County.

Homework
Practice drawing, coloring, painting, or whatever art medium you like to use. The more you practice the better you wil be at it.
