My name is Marianne Rhodes and I have been the school nurse at JT Barber for 7 years. My office hours on school days are from 8:00-2:00 pm. My office is located in the Media Center. I can be reached at 514-6462 or email me.


bandaid2 Medications
If your child needs to take any type of medication (prescription, over-the-counter, even Tylenol), a medication authorization form will need to be filled out by the physician and parent. All medication needs to be brought to school by an adult. Children are not allowed to bring any type of medication (prescription or over-the-counter) to school. Parents are welcome to come and give medications but staff are not allowed to administer any type of medication without a doctor's order.

There will be times during the school year when your child will be sick. Please do not send your child to school if they are experiencing: vomiting
head lice
diarrhea
strep throat
(until treated with antibiotics)
red/watery/itchy eyes with discharge
undiagnosed rash
fever greater than 100 degrees
