MRS. KING WELCOMES YOU TO ART!

THE WAY WE LEARN In Mrs. King's art class, children are taught a developmental, comprehensive study of art principles and art elements through hands-on orientation. Students enter the room ready to listen and learn as the day's goals are established. There is focus time for sequential study, individual practice, and reflection using Baldrige tools for data collection. Using a variety of media allowing students to investigate their strengths, creativity is taught, encouraged, and applauded!
Everyday life skills including time management, sharing with others, proper use of supplies and tools, and respect for all stakeholders is modeled.
Have a look at our curriculum. Mrs. King integrates all art lessons with the regular classroom teacher's curriculum.
