Fruit and Vegetable Program

Oaks Road Elementary School was picked to participate in the "Give Me 5" program. The proram provids educational learning of the importance of fruits and vegetables for a healthy diet. Educational opportunities include: tast testing, nutritional activities in the classromm utlizing 5 A Day materials, colorful bulleting boards and posters displayed throughout the school. |
Oaks Road Elementary was awarded the USDA Fresh Fruit and Vegtable Program! This program allows for fresh fruits and vegtables to the distributed to each classroom for snack time. |
