Email Mrs. Carter Sh.h.h.h. ROGER BELL SCHOLARS AT WORK! Our Media Center provides a warm, relaxed atmosphere for our scholars. We have classes that visit the media center throughout the day for classes, to check out and return books, to do research, to learn more about technology, read, take AR tests and research using the computers. Each class will visit the library weekly and check out books. The students in the classes have set goals and work hard to achieve them. Our teachers and parents work hard to challenge them and ultimately help them succeed. We're all in this together with our Roger Bell Scholars! |

Destiny Quest Students may come into the media center and check out books. After a period of two weeks, they become overdue. The student will not be allowed to check out another book until the overdue item is returned or renewed. Kindergarteners and First Graders may check out one book. Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade students may check out two books. Students will be charged for the cost of a lost or damaged book. They will not be able to check out another book until charges have been paid on the one that was lost or damaged.

Kindergarten Technology Buzzwords Each student has an opportunity to learn about the computer and how to properly use them each week. Roger Bell Elementary has two computer labs, one for K-2 and the other for the upper grades 3-5. Technology terms are taught each nine weeks and the students are carefully administered by teachers and staff as they learn to do research on educational sites and practice academic skills. Our scholars enjoy this resource and find learning enjoyable. |

RIF Lot of smiles and excitement in the RBE Media Center! It is always an exciting time for most kids when they get the chance to get a new book to read and take home. The Reading Is Fun program has provided many great books for our kids at Roger Bell. This time some special guests helped creat more excitement by reading to our students. Check out the link to see if you can tell who all came to celebrate R.I.F. with us! |
